In terms of provisions of the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Exchange, members are notified as under.
As a part of our continuous endeavor to enhance system performance, the Exchange is planning to implement a new version of trading software (MCX-SX Member Admin 10.5 and MCX-SX TWS 10.5). To familiarize members to use new version of Member Admin and TWS, the Exchange will be conducting a Mock Trading session on Saturday, December 11, 2010.

Members may note that the trades resulting from such mock trading will not attract any margin obligation, pay-in and pay-out and do not create any rights and liability on members.
The outcome of the Mock Trading Sessions shall be intimated to members through a message broadcast during re-login time as per the above schedule.
Procedure for downloading the files for participating in mock trading is specified in Annexure 1 and write up on the new functionalities is given in Annexure 2
Members are requested to verify the downloaded reports generated from mock trading with their modified back office software as per the revised file format detailed in circular no. MCX-SX/IT/479/2010 dated November 24, 2010.
Members using CTCL facility are requested to actively participate in the mock trading session using CTCL software.
Members are requested to take note of the above and participate actively in the Mock Trading. Members are also requested to give their feedback on the sessions.

| Steps for downloading files for participating in Mock Trading. |

| a) |
Members are advised to log-in to the Member-Administrator and Trader Workstation with the same user id and password as being used in the Live environment |

| b) |
For Internet, Lease Line & VSAT users |
| |
- Download all the files kept in the common \Setup\Mock Setup folder in the SFTP (Extranet) Server using address https://192.168.13.94 for downloading through VSAT/Lease Line and https://sftp.mcx-sx.com for downloading through Internet to the members System. Files can be downloaded any time through Internet or can be downloaded through VSAT / Leased Line from December 10, 2010 after trading hours.
- Double click MCX-SXTWSCLIENT10.msi. It will install the MCX-SX TWS
- After installation open MCX-SX Trader Workstation Test and follow below mentioned steps:
- Go to Tools
 System configuration
- Select Mode of Connectivity as “Internet” if connecting through internet and “Dedicated” if connecting through VSAT or Lease Line.
- If Mode of Connectivity is selected as “Dedicated” select Market Data Updates as Normal
- After selection click on Modify.
- System will set the Mode of Connectivity and Market Data Updates settings automatically and application will get closed.
- Start MCX-SX Trader Workstation Test and login to the mock environment of MCX-SX.
- Double click MCX-SXMEMADMIN10.msi. It will install new MCX-SX Member Administrator for mock Version 10.5.4
- After installation open MCX-SX Member Administrator Test and follow below mentioned steps:
- Go to ToolsSystem configuration
- Select Mode of Connectivity as “Dedicated”.
- Select Market Data Updates as “Normal”.
- After selection click on Modify.
- System will set the Mode of Connectivity and Market Data Updates settings automatically and application will get closed.
- Start MCX-SX Member Administrator Test and login to the mock environment of MCX-SX

| New Functionalities: |

| 1. |
Receive Market data and Order information:- In order to allow MAT user to define whether Market Data and Order related information should be updated or not, two new checkboxes have been provided in 'ToolsPreferences'General tab. |

Receive Market Data
- If this preference is unchecked, then from subsequent login request,
- No Market Data would be received.
- No broadcast related values in MAT terminal windows would get updated on any Order/trade related event.
- In Net Position window, Market Price, MTMV Pos and MTM G/L column would get displayed as currently gets displayed when Broadcast is not available.
- On subsequent logon, a pop up message would be displayed as well as Message Bar would display a message as "Based on Receive Market Data Preference, Market Data is currently not available."
- If the checkbox is checked, then from subsequent login request, Broadcast related functionality would remain as existing.

Receive Order Information
- If this preference is unchecked, then from subsequent login request,
- No Order request/ response/ confirmation message would be received.
- No order related windows and fields would get updated for order information irrespective of whether requests have been placed by logged in member himself or by any other user belonging to such member’s hierarchy.
- Daily Limits would not be computed and daily limits Utilized (TWS) would remain blank.
- On subsequent logon, a pop up message would be displayed as well as Message Bar would display a message as "Based on Receive Order Information Preference, Order Information is currently not available."
- TM/TCM would be allowed to send COC and Order requests, as existing.
- If the checkbox is checked, then from subsequent login request, Order related functionality would remain as existing.
