DMA Facility

Direct Market Access (DMA) is a facility which allows Members to offer their clients direct access to the exchange trading system through their Computer to Computer Link (CTCL) infrastructure without manual intervention by them. DMA facility is currently permitted by SEBI only to institutional clients and further extended to investment managers. Such institutional clients may use the services of an investment manager or advisor or portfolio manager ("Investment Manager") to avail the DMA facility, as mentioned in the SEBI circular.

Procedure to apply for DMA

  • Members are required to submit documents as per Part F: Checklist for Direct Market Access (DMA) Facility (Ref: page number 32 of Master Circular Computer to Computer Link (CTCL) dated December 31, 2012) and shall follow the procedure mentioned in Paragraph 3 of Circular No: MCX-SX/CTCL/1477/2013 dated September 30, 2013.
  • Demo of software is provided to Exchange.
  • Exchange provides approval to the member.
